
I’m Mike Tucker. Fifteen years ago I started my career as a weekend warrior racing bicycles. After competing in Criterium and Road Race Events and numerous Time Trials I took up Track Racing. For the next 4 years, I trained locally and traveled to the Velodromes in California to compete with the California Teams and other Arizona Teams where I won a couple of State Championships and podium finishes.
During this time I tried my hand at Triathlon. The sport of triathlon become my passion. As I studied the sport, training plans, polarization, periodization, and nutrition, I learned everything I could to help me in my training, I found myself answering questions and guiding other athletes through their triathlon journey. I was helping them make training plan decisions, organizing group training rides, runs, and open water swim sessions, and helping them complete their first race. Some wanted help going a longer distance or becoming faster in their next race. All this prompted me to become a USAT Certifed Coach and 80/20 Endurance Certified Coach to make it official. Now, my dream is to help as many beginner and intermediate Triathletes become better, faster, and stronger.


Since I started racing and competing in Triathlon I have built a nice collection of race numbers, medals, and finisher t-shirts to include:
Multiple Sprint Distance races with a few age group podiums
Multiple Olympic Distance Races with a couple of age group podiums
15 – IronMan 70.3 and other long course finishes including a few virtual races
4 – Ironman 140.6 Finishes including one virtual

Oceanside Virtual 70.3 – April
Morro Bay 70.3 – May
Mountain Man 70.3 – August
Ironman Arizona 140.6 – November
I may also race a few sprints throughout the year
